Warranty

FiSHAW Technology Pty Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “FiSHAW”) guarantees: During the warranty period, customers enjoy warranty service from FiSHAW for products bought from FiSHAW as long as the products are within the warranty period and the issues are indeed quality issues concerning materials and workmanship.

Warranty Requirements:

  1. Proof of purchase. Original Invoice.
  2. Registration of Warranty at the time of purchase.
  3. 160km first service by a licensed bicycle mechanic authorised by FiSHAW.
  4. Annual service by a licensed bicycle mechanic authorised by FiSHAW.

This warranty extends from the receipt of product by the customer and is offered only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Warranty Period and Scope: 

Original FiSHAW Frames are covered by a two year limited warranty. 

Original FiSHAW Parts and Components are covered by a two year limited warranty.

FiSHAW’s limited warranty does not cover or apply to the following situations:

1) Damage, failure and/or loss caused by refitting, neglect, improper maintenance, accident, misuse, abuse or use for competition or commercial purpose.

2) Damage, failure and/or loss due to shipping.

3) Damage, failure and/or loss caused by improper installation, adjustment or repairing.

4) Damage, failure and/or loss irrelevant to materials and workmanship, e.g., failure to follow instructions by users.

5) Damage, failure and/or loss caused by product’s appearance or surface change which does not affect its function.

6) Damage, failure and/or loss due to maintenance or installation by repairers or bicycle mechanics unauthorized by FiSHAW.

7) Damage, failure or loss caused by normal wear and tear.

8) Damage caused by water due to failure to comply with the following: IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Although parts and components of the system are waterproof to a degree, they must be protected from water when they are transported by a car or truck which is running at a high speed on a rainy day due to the greater impact pressure of the rain. This also applies to the use of any high-pressure water jets on the product.

9) Labour charges for part replacement or changeover.

10) Defects or damage resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the Products), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, salt water, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress

11) Scratches, dents and cosmetic damage not caused by FiSHAW.

12) Product that has the serial number or the bar code removed, defaced, damaged, altered or made illegible.

13) Defects or damage to the Products caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by FiSHAW with the Products.

14) Defects or damage caused by improper assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment in a manner that varies from Assembly Instructions & Owner’s Manual.

15) Defects or damage resulting from external causes, such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuse or improper use of any electrical source.

ORIGINAL FISHAW BATTERIES are covered by a twelve-month limited warranty.

Batteries can be assessed and found defective only by FiSHAW or an authorised representative.

This Limited Warranty for FiSHAW Batteries does not cover:

1) Defects or damage resulting from accident, abuse, misuse, abnormal use (including but not limited to stunt riding, racing or other similar activities not consistent with the intended use of the Products), improper storage, abnormal exposure to liquid, chemicals, moisture, abrasives, sand or dirt, neglect, or abnormal physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.

2) Scratches, dents and cosmetic damage, unless caused by FiSHAW.

3) Product that has the serial number or the bar code removed, defaced, damaged, altered or made illegible.

4) Ordinary wear and tear.

5) Defects or damage to the Products caused by the use of accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by FiSHAW with the Products.

6) Defects or damage caused by assembly, testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, repair, or adjustment in a manner that varies from Assembly Instructions & Owner’s Manual.

7) Defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision, fire, flooding, windstorm, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuse or improper use of any electrical source.

8) In addition, with respect to the Battery, this Limited Warranty does not cover defects or damage:

  1. Caused by charging with a battery charger not intended or appropriate for use with the Battery or the improper use of a battery charger.
  2. Where any of the seals on the Battery are broken or show evidence of tampering.
  3. Where the Battery has been used in equipment other than the Bike for which it is specified.

FiSHAW reserves the right to repair or replace the components and is only responsible for repairing or replacing them directly.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If this warranty statement is against a current Australian law, the Australian law shall prevail. FiSHAW reserves the right to modify the terms without announcement in advance.
